Boys Lacrosse
The Watertown Lacrosse Association Boys Lacrosse Program serves Boys in grades 1-8. We strive to build our athlete's emotional and physical development through age-appropriate activities promoting good sportsmanship, fundamental game skills and a love of the sport. Our Bantam 8u and Lightning 10u teams focus on basic skill development, team play, and fun. Our Junior 12u and Senior 14u teams build upon previous skills with more focus on team play, competitiveness, and positional skill development.
Ages
Bantam 8u - Grades 1 & 2
Lightning 10u - Grades 3 & 4
Junior 12u - Grades 5 & 6
Senior 14u - Grades 7 & 8
When
Spring Lacrosse Season typically starts in mid March (weather pending) and runs until mid June.
Where
Practices are typically held at John Trumbull Primary School, Swift Middle School, or The Taft School.
Home Games are played at Swift Middle School or Watertown High School.
Away Games locations are determined by opposing team.
Practices
Bantams 8u practice 1-2 times per week for 45 - 60 minutes.
Lightning 10u practices 2 times per week for 60 - 75 minutes.
Junior 12u practices 2-3 times per week for 75 - 90 minutes.
Senior 14u practices 2-3 times per week for 75-90 minutes.
Games
Teams typically play between 12-16 games per season and at minimum 1 tournament/jamboree. *
Games will usually be held on Saturday (Away) and Sunday (Home).
*Weather and Team Configuration can affect the number of games and tournaments/jamborees.
Uniforms
Uniforms (reversible jersey and shorts) are required to participate and may be purchased during registration.
Junior and Senior players have an additional requirement of a Shooter Shirt as part of the uniform. Shooter Shirts are optional for Bantam and Lightning players.
Bantam Players also have the option of borrowing a Loaner Uniform for the season.

USA Lacrosse Registration
Annual USA Lacrosse registration or renewal is required and must be completed during this registration process with Watertown Lacrosse. Price is $35 for players.
